This video shows how hard a big fluffy dog is to maintain. My Chow Chow, Mishka sheds hair too much. She is used to getting brushed daily. The key is to make her feel comfortable while brushing her. We use a variety of techniques such as using treats, using toys and playing with Mishka during her grooming sessions.
Expect to brush your Chow Chow three times a week to keep the coat in good condition and to keep loose hair from landing on your clothes and furniture. Chow Chows are heavy seasonal shedders, and the coat requires extra attention.
We are using a Dyson Vacuum cleaner to clean our carpet every day. I believe Dyson is the Best Vacuum for dog hair especially for double-coated dogs.
